ccGirl here - your one and only source to all things CnC.

It's halfway through another semester of torture. This is the point when I start wondering why I chose the life of a student and why I decided 8am classes were totally doable. 

I have become addicted to solitaire (fyi I'm sure I'd win TONS in Vegas...new high score $352!) because it is the only thing standing between me and my latest essay. Yes, I have pondered deleting the application but my little index finger just can't seem to pull it all the way into the recycle bin. I am officially drowning in unimportant games of cards. I feel like I am out of options and that this semester is an official write off ... but there are only so many ‘W's a student wants on their transcript!

Thanksgiving, the supposed time of relaxation, was a disaster zone...

Overheard ... Mom and Dad seriously wondering what I was doing at school...major ouch! Little do they know, I'm still trying to find my own way. But where do I go from here?

There must be more of you out there that feel the same way. I just can't be alone! Where are all my peers? Where are all the people that feel the same way that I do? "So what am I going to do with my degree?" just isn't a question you ask at the Den on a Thursday night.

Cue awesome, superhero soundtrack here. My mission has officially begun. I will become ccStudent extraordinaire!

No more solitaire. More studying.
No more whining. More looking for help.
No more being afraid. More networking.
No more questioning why I'm here. More loving every minute of being a CnC Student.

Watch out Faculty, here I come! Maybe I should look into chatting with the Rockstar (aka Dean Scherf)...or not...that still seems a tad terrifying. I'll start achieving my goal by talking to someone a little less daunting.

Hopefully I'll meet some of those other terrified students along the way. Or maybe I'll get to encounter those star students who have it figured out. Maybe in some crazy way my trials will give you some ideas as you venture thru CnC. After all, we are in this together! ;)
