TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES in the Faculty of Communication and Culture

Applications are invited to teach the following courses in the Fall 2008 and Winter 2009 sessions for the Faculty of Communication and Culture. 

The dates for the Fall 2008 session are September 2 to December 17, 2008.  Winter 2008 session dates are from January 5 to April 30, 2009.

Fall 2008 Session:

The application deadline for the following course is Monday, July 28, 2008:

Development Studies 201: Introduction to Development Studies

To apply, to any of the above teaching opportunities, please submit a letter of application to the email account cchire@ucalgary.ca indicating which course(s) and session(s) you are interested in teaching.  In support of your application, please provide the following:

• a current, up-to-date CV (if our Faculty does not already have one on file)
• 3 references (required if you have not taught for our Faculty before)
• a description of your qualifications in support of each course(s) you are interested in teaching
• any restrictions (e.g., scheduling day or time constraints) that would need to be taken into consideration

Doctoral students who will have passed their candidacy exams by the time the course begins are eligible to apply.

The amount of remuneration is calculated according to the Collective Agreement, Schedule B.  Please see the Faculty Association's website at http://www.ucalgary.ca/TUCFA for further information regarding conditions of employment and remuneration.
