Current Research: Rebecca is the author of:

  • Canadian Television Today (with Bart Beaty). This book, the first in the Op/Positions series from The University of Calgary Press, was released in October 2006. It examines the state of the contemporary Canadian television through the lenses of regulation, programming, and new digital technologies.

  • Visual Habits: Nuns, Feminism, and American Postwar Popular Culture. This book was published in May 2005 by The University of Toronto Press. It examines the popular representations of women religous in the era following the Second Vatican Council, inserting the neglected figure of the nun into the history of second wave feminism.
