U of C 101

Start your university experience off right with this annual campus tradition!

U of C 101 is a two day orientation in September in which new students interact with faculty members, meet new friends in small groups, find out information essential to succeeding during their first year at the U of C, and begin growing some "CnC" pride!

Students are placed in faculty-specific groups led by U of C 101 orientation leaders. Groups attend a series of events and interactive workshops covering academic success skills, faculty policies, academic integrity, becoming engaged in the U of C community, campus technologies, staying well and more!

This orientation program is required for all full-time students coming from high school, transferring from another post-secondary school and returning to school after time away. Once you register for your courses, you are automatically signed up for U of C 101.

Admitted students can expect to receive details about U of C 101 in July. Until then, check out the Office of the Student Experience website for more information.

Kick Off

Be sure to wrap up your orientation by attending Kick Off - the university's welcome event for students, faculty, and alumni. Over the past two years, events have featured pep-rallies, tailgate parties, Dinos football home openers, and concerts by such acts as Bedouin Soundclash and the Sam Roberts Band. What better way to kick off a great new school year?!
