African Studies

The African Studies Minor (AFST) examines different aspects of African societies from historical and contemporary perspectives.

Students gain critical skills for analyzing and functioning within African societies and in situations relating to the continent.

Architectural Studies

     
The Minor in Architectural Studies (ARST) is designed as a pre-professional degree option for those students wishing to pursue the Master of Architecture (MArch) program.

The Minor includes courses equivalent to the first year of the Faculty of Environmental Design's four year professional degree program.

Museum and Heritage Studies

     
The Museum and Heritage Studies (MHST) minor program is for students interested in collecting, preserving and exhibiting institutions, such as zoos, historic sites, parks and museums.

The minor adds to your credentials by demonstrating to prospective employers that you have a broad familiarity with the museum and heritage field, as well as with the current issues that dominate the field.
