“What started out as a small art film for Bravo has become something quite special, and we’re thrilled to be included in such a prestigious festival,” says writer-producer Kirsten Bolton. “We were in the first round of films the festival selected and the organizer contacted us last week to notify us that Shipwrecked is now getting a second showing added to the program, screening ahead of a feature film. I hope that’s a good sign!”
Shipwrecked is the story of a lonely 10-year-old boy who discovers a miniature shipwreck on a cold, isolated beach. Shocked to find dozens of tiny footprints leading away from the historic sailing vessel, the boy follows the prints, uncovering and examining tiny artifacts left behind by the crew until the intrusion of his mother on the scene dashes his world and he finds all is not as it seems.
